Winter Penguins Cards

Hello! It's a beautiful day here in Northern Michigan. We still have snow on the ground (and ice in the driveway), but the sun has been shining for most of the week. It got up to 40 degrees the other day, and I was feeling nostalgic with past springtime memories.

Before I move on to sharing some springtime/floral cards with you, I wanted to share some of my favorite winter cards with you. Other than the stamp of the months, I focused primarily on the Winter Penguins set in the January/February book. It was fun to pair them up with (retired) paper collections and embossed cardstock. They really can be combined with anything, not just winter paper.

Products used are by Close To My Heart (unless otherwise stated):

Pattern Paper: Claire, Every Little Thing, Boutique, Mix-Ins

Cardstock: Wisteria, Lilac, Mint, Sapphire, White Daisy, Glacier, Pewter, Sweet Leaf, Twilight, Charcoal, Peacock, Sugarplum, Peach, Hollyhock, Sunset, Outdoor Denim, Raspberry, Eggplant, Black

Inks: Peacock, Pewter, Hollyhock, Eggplant, Tuxedo Black (Memento), Versamark

Stamps: Winter Penguins, Perfect Fit-Birthday, Say It In Style, Short & Sweet, Cherishing Her

Tools: Tri-blend Alcohol Markers (Spectrum Noir), Paper-Piercer, Micro-Tip Scissors, Wisteria Ribbon, White Daisy Ribbon, Silver Embellishing Thread, White Embossing Powder, Heat Gun, Clear Sparkles, Bitty Sparkles, Chelsea Gardens Dots, Snowflake Embossing Folder, Birthday Embossing Folder, Fancy Border Thincuts, Oval Dies (Spellbinders), Stitched Square Stax (MFT), Nordic Frame Die (The Greetery), Stitched Sentiments Die (MFT), Border Bling: Tin Stitch Die (Papertrey Ink), Scallop Circle & Circle Die Set (Stampin' Up), Sentiment Suite Basics Die (The Greetery), Circle Shaker Thincut, Stardust Stickles, White Gel Pen, Thin 3d Foam Tape

Aren't these penguins just the sweetest? I really enjoyed letting my creativity fly with this set. These penguins are available on my website here.
