Typewriter Cards

I think today I am showing you the last of the cards I created on New Year's Day.

I used an MFT sketch for this one (you may recognize it from an earlier snowman card post). Funny how you can get so many different looks from one sketch, just by switching out paper and stamped images/die cuts.

Again, the theme was using up scraps that were on my desk already. I love that blue polka dot paper. I had some scraps left over from the baby shower album I was working on and that's where the grey chevron paper came from. I stamped the typewriter in retired Pear ink. Love these cards! Perfect for male or female.

Hope your day is a crafty one. Thanks for stopping by.

Share the Love Phone Card

This next card is super fun. I liked it so much that I made a batch of 10!

I stamped the phone image 3 times, and layered the pieces. I like how it gives it more depth. The "hello" sentiment was stamped on a tiny scrap that I would have thrown away, otherwise. I may use these cards for my Valentine's, this year.

P.S. I'm still getting the hang of our new ink pads (Close To My Heart). They have a magnetic closure, and if I don't line them up just right, it can be messy. But practice makes perfect.

Thanks for stopping by. Have a great day!

Some Kinda Wonderful Thinking of You Cards

Good morning. I am sharing more cards I made with the Some Kinda Wonderful kit. I like having "generic" themed cards on hand for those moments when I feel like sending out a card just because.

Here are 2:

I played around with some sketches I had on hand, and finally used last year's (really, 2016 is last year already?) special stamp set "Share the Love". I  also added a partial sentiment from the retired Artfully Sent cricut combo. That stamp set has become my go-to for cards. The sentiments are just perfect.

Have a happy, crafty kind of day!
