Bliss Anniversary Card

Hi! Just dropping in with a quick post today to wish my in-laws a Happy Anniversary!
I found inspiration from this blog. The squares are 1.5". I hand-stitched the border in chocolate embroidery floss. The front of the card and the envelope was stamped with Card Word Puzzle, and the inside uses one of my favorite sentiments from retired TLC stamp set.

This went together super quick, stitching and all! Have a wonderful day!

Bliss Anniversary Layout

On Saturday, my kids and I were invited to a surprise 25th anniversary party. I put together this layout using the Make It From Your Heart book, added 2 page protectors, and one of our fabulous Quick-Pic Albums (wish we still had the 12x12 size...love them!). This was our gift, along with taking pictures at the event.

Recipe:
Paper: Bliss, Colonial White CS, White Daisy CS, Chocolate CS, Grey Flannel CS (CTMH); Stamps: Bliss, Bohemian Alphabet (CTMH); Inks: Chocolate, Grey Wool, Petal (CTMH); Tools: Micro-Tip Scissors, Sponge, Paper-Piercer (CTMH); Other: Irresistables Chipboard, Licorice Opaques, Chocolate Stripe Ribbon (CTMH), Silver Ribbon, Glue Dots

Their wedding colors were lilac and silver. Happy Anniversary, Tim and Tina!

Moxie Fab Tuesday Trigger Challenge

Last week, I found this cute inspiration photo on Moxie Fab World's blog. For those of you who aren't familiar with Moxie Fab World, every Tuesday they offer up a new challenge that we can participate in.

The colors in this photo reminded me of Close To My Heart's Bliss paper pack. So I dug my scraps out and got busy creating. And this is what I came up with.
Yes, folks, that's a lot of hand-stitching there. I even used our Cricut Art Philosophy cartridge to create the little flourishes that you see tucked under the flowers.

Products Used:

Bliss L2 Paper (Retired)
Bliss WOTG Stamp (Retired)
For Every Occasion Stamp Set
Desert Sand & Chocolate Inks
Cricut Art Philosophy Cartridge
Paper Flowers
Opaque Pearls
Neutral Embroidery Floss
Wishes How-To-Program

If you would like to play along with this challenge, you have until Sunday, January 29th to post artwork and link to Moxie Fab World. For further details, please click this link.

Thank you for stopping by today. Have a fabulous weekend!

Bliss Swap Spoiler

Good morning, Saturday!

Last night, I completed one layout from start to finish for my Bliss April scrapbook swap. I have 6 more layouts to assemble, but precuts are finished so it should go together pretty quickly now.

I thought I would share this layout with you (below).

I used the following products to create this layout:

Bliss Level 2 Paper Packet
Miracle Level 2 Paper Packet
Chocolate, Colonial White, Sweet Leaf, Vanilla Cream, and White Daisy Cardstock
A Hop Stamp Set
Splendid Day Stamp Set
Around the Block Stamp Set
Antique Copper Brads
Chocolate Watercolor Pencil
Chocolate, Garden Green, Buttercup, Sweet Leaf, and Crystal Blue ink pads
Scallop and Picket Fence Border Punches
Magic How-To-Program: Secret template

This is the first time that I've used that Around the Block stamp set. I'm glad I decided to keep it. :)

Bliss Wedding Cards

This morning, I finished up the wedding cards for the Celebration Card Workshop. Here they are:

My personal favorite is Card #3 "Hand in Hand Together". I used the Bliss Workshop On The Go Kit to create them. For just $29.95 plus shipping and tax, you get a Level 2 Paper Pack, Irresistables Villa Chipboard Die-Cuts, Workshop Guide, and Workshop Stamp to complete your scrapbook pages or cards.

Workshop On The Go kits really are the best value. With the addition of inks, blocks and cleaner, you can complete these projects at home or with me at a workshop.

So, here you have the final 3 cards for the Celebration Card Workshop being hosted tomorrow at 1pm. Can't wait to see you there!
