UYSBH Green Destash

It just so happens that green is my favorite color, and it is also my son's favorite color. When the grass turns green, I know it is truly Springtime. (At least it's not white right now.)

If you have come here from Marie Flayer's blog, you are on the right track.

It was the Summer of 2010, and I was busy chasing around toddlers. Splendor debuted and I fell in love with its beautiful cloud patterns and topiary green grass like paper. It had a lively shade of blue called Moonstruck, and possibly the coolest brads I've ever seen. Of course, when Close To My Heart offered a huge reduction in the price, I had to buy a second kit, and I have been carefully hoarding it ever since.

Fast forward to 2015. Has it really been 5 years? Seriously? All right...it's time to start using it. But I must save every scrap!

Products Used:
Paper: Splendor (retired), Goldrush CS, Colonial White CS (CTMH)
Stamps: Card Chatter - Birthday (retired) (CTMH)
Inks: Goldrush, Topiary, Heavenly Blue (retired) (CTMH)
Other: Splendor Compliments (retired) (CTMH)

Clementine Birthday Card

I created the following birthday card for my October 19th workshop. I love this design because it's fast, simple and easy, which just happens to be CTMH's motto. Pretty awesome, don't you think?

Recipe:
Paper: Clementine, Colonial White CS, Sorbet CS (CTMH); Stamp: Card Chatter-Birthday (CTMH); Ink: Saddle (CTMH); Tools: Paper-Piercer, Micro-Tip Scissors (CTMH) Embossing Folder (SU!); Other: Brown Sparkles (CTMH), Chocolate Ribbon (American Crafts)

Any card that uses up those small scraps is a winner in my book. :)

Masculine Birthday Card

Are you sick of all these cards yet? Here's yet another post for today.

I made this card using the previous sketch from Try Stampin' On Tuesday blog.
Recipe:
Paper: Scholastic, Dakota, Black CS, White Daisy CS (CTMH); Stamp: Card Chatter - Birthday (CTMH); Ink: Black (CTMH); Tools: Micro-Tip Scissors (CTMH); Other: Chocolate Ribbon, Glue Dot (CTMH)

I will give you the dimensions super quick here. Graph paper is 3.5"x4". Pennant strips are .75"x2.5", .75"x3", and .75"x2.75". This sketch is great for using up scraps!
