Laughing Lola Card Workshop

This is where the bulk of my cards came from yesterday during World Card Making Day. I purchased the Laughing Lola Card Workshop Kit for just $24.95*.
Laughing Lola Cardmaking Kit
This kit includes everything needed to complete 15 cards, envelopes included. By using some extra white daisy cardstock and the You Are My Happy stamp set, I was able to create extra cards. I made 5 each of the examples showcased above.

Colored this little guy to look like a skunk. It made my kids laugh.

I added a small piece of retired Florentine paper since it was already out on my workspace. I also had left over pieces of cardstock and used those on some of the other cards I created last night. My goal was to see how much of the pattern paper I could use up, and I'm proud to say I have like 2 small pieces left over. As was the case with Chantilly, I had enough paper left to create 4 more cards with this kit, making it 19 total for just $24.95*.

*Plus shipping and tax.

DS117 Thinking of You Card

I created the following card today for a friend that is dealing with a tremendous loss right now. About 4 weeks ago, she went to wake up her two boys, only to find that her littlest boy, 19 months old, had passed away in his sleep. His name was Jayce, and I will forever remember his dimpled smile and beautiful curls.

I wanted to send her a card to let her know that I am still thinking of her.
Recipe:
Paper: Huntington, Colonial White CS, Kraft CS
Stamp: Laughing Lola Card WOTG
Inks: Barn Red, Olive
Tools: Paper-Piercer, Micro-Tip Scissors, Needle, Corner Rounder
Other: Chocolate Brads, White Embroidery Floss
All products by CTMH.

I would like to enter this card into the following challenges:
1. Deconstructed Sketch DS117 Challenge
2. Color Throwdown CTD259 Challenge
3. Friday Mashup FM127 Challenge

Thank you for stopping by today.

Tommy Workshop

This marks the first of two posts I have to share with you today. Last night, I feverishly worked on my layouts for today's Tommy Workshop. I've gotten into the habit of making layouts with the pictures on them. The journaling and titles aren't always completed at that time, but getting the pictures on is really the big step for me.

So here they are:

Recipe:
Paper: Tommy, Outdoor Denim CS, Cranberry CS, Honey CS, White Daisy CS, Desert Sand CS
Stamps: Cricut Artbooking, Tommy WOTG, Laughing Lola Cardmaking WOTG, Trinity Alphabet, Pinwheel
Inks: Cranberry, Outdoor Denim, Honey, White Daisy, Black, Desert Sand, VersaMark
Tools: Paper-Piercer, Micro-Tip Scissors, Heat Gun, Craft Tray, Cricut Art Philosophy
Other: Cranberry Baker's Twine, Tommy Assortment, Tommy Complements, Artisan Durable Studs, Holiday Red Ribbon, Foam Tape, Clear Detail Embossing Powder, White Embossing Powder, Outdoor Denim Embossing Powder

I was amazed at how many of my pictures taken recently actually worked with this kit. At first glance, it screams nautical, but the colors work well with most pictures.

I would like to enter my layouts into the Bon Voyage Challenge over at H2H. If you'd like to participate, make sure to do so before August 31st. Have a happy day!
