I couldn't resist making another card today using our pretty new Skylark paper. This one may be my favorite. A funny little side note. When I finished making this card, my husband noted that the sparkles looked like "the butterfly was pooping sparkles". I love his sick humor. Hehe.
I was inspired by this week's sketch challenge over at CAS(E) this Sketch! I would also like to enter this into H2H Challenge "Two-Faced Challenge".
Recipe:
Paper: Skylark, Scholastic (retired), White Daisy CS (CTMH)
Stamp: A Tree (CTMH)
Inks: Lagoon, Chocolate (CTMH)
Tools: Paper-Piercer, Micro-Tip Scissors, Watercolor Pencils (CTMH)
Other: Bitty Sparkles (CTMH)
So, I have a confession to make. I've owned this tree stamp for nearly 2 years now, and this is the first time it has seen ink. *Gasp* I know, right?

ReplyDeleteOh Cassandra, you are not alone…I have paper and stamps that I have had for way longer that have not been cut or inked up, they are just waiting for their perfect project to be paired with! This is a great card and this stamp works wonderfully with the Skylark papers. Your work is stunning and the stamp was worth the wait! Thanks for playing along at H2H!
ReplyDeleteCasandra - the tree stamp is perfect with Skylark. I love that paper pack - like you, one of my favorites in the new IB. Love what you did with the sketch and the 2-sided paper!
