I am a little behind on my Easter cards, this year.
I used a retired stamp set from a few years ago called "Some Bunny", and combined it with our current paper collection "Gimme Some Sugar".
This is being entered into the current challenge over at Try Stampin' on Tuesday.
Happy crafting!

Easter Bunny Card
I'm jumping the gun a bit here with this next card. During the month of February, we have a fun stamp of the month set aptly titled "Easter Bunny".
Recipe:
Paper: Hello Lovely, White Daisy CS (CTMH)
Stamp: Easter Bunny (CTMH)
Inks: Juniper (CTMH), Black (Memento)
Tools: ShinHan Alcohol Markers, Micro-Tip Scissors, Paper-Piercer, Glue Pen (CTMH)
Other: Grey Enamel Gems (CTMH)
I think because the ink lines are just a bit wider for this stamp, it allowed the ink to fuzz just a bit when applying color with the alcohol markers. In any case, I will likely just use clear embossing powder to heat set the rest of my images with this particular stamp set. I prefer embossed images, anyway. (Much easier to stay in the lines with, too!)
Easter always seems to sneak up on me before I'm quite ready for it, so I wanted to get a jump on a couple of prototypes for my cards, this year. Isn't that bunny just the sweetest?
Have a great day!

SOUS Easter Layout
Today, I am enjoying the sunshine as I sit here in my craft room. I even played silly hide-and-go-seek games with my daughter.
I'm really proud of my latest scrapbook layout. One of my close friends finally took the leap to log into Cricut Craft Room, and she inspired me to give it a try. After more than 2 hours trying to get my computer to recognize the cricut and finally to update firmware, etc., I began to have my doubts if it was really worth it. BUT, now that all those things have been accomplished, I love the ease of using CCR. I can even create 12" grass! Amazing....And, I even bought a digital cricut cartridge download (Doodlecharms) so I could cut the Easter basket.
Recipe:
Paper: Brushed, Juniper CS, Hollyhock CS, White Daisy CS, Black CS, Kraft CS (CTMH)
Stamps: A Hop (retired), Keyboard Uppercase Alphabet, Brushed WOTG (CTMH)
Inks: Pear, Hollyhock, Buttercup (retired), Pixie, Desert Sand, Black, Juniper (CTMH)
Tools: Cricut Artiste, Cricut Doodlecharms, Micro-Tip Scissors, Woodgrain Embossing Folder, Sponges (CTMH)
Other: Lagoon Heart Washi, Topiary Chevron Ribbon, Glue Dots, Foam Tape (CTMH)
At one point, as Izzy was participating in her 2nd Easter Egg Hunt (she did three of them last year), she yelled "Chocolate. I need chocolate! Chocolate I tell ya!"
I am entering this layout into the following challenges:
1) Stuck On U Sketches: In The Garden Challenge
2) Heart 2 Heart Challenges: How Cute Challenge
I can't wait for this Easter. Izzy wants to take back her record of finding her Easter basket first. I wonder who will succeed?

Baby's First Easter Layout
Good morning. I am back today with an Easter layout I made for a baby album.
I used retired Balloon Ride paper and even chose the template that was used in the Spring/Summer 2014 Idea Book with the workshop on the go. I made some modifications to mine. I was looking to add color, but I think this layout really won't pop until the photos are attached to it. It is way prettier in person.
Recipe:
Paper: Balloon Ride (retired), Cashmere CS, Colonial White CS, Juniper CS, Crystal Blue CS (CTMH)
Stamps: Friendship Alphabet-Small (retired), A Hop (retired) (CTMH)
Inks: Crystal Blue, Sorbet, Chocolate, Desert Sand, Buttercup (retired), Garden Green (retired) (CTMH)
Tools: 2" Scallop Circle Punch (retired), Micro-Tip Scissors, Paper-Piercer, Stitch Guide Ruler (CTMH)
Other: Chocolate Embroidery Floss (retired), Cork Alphabet (retired), Balloon Ride PML Card (CTMH)
Just one more layout to share with you and I saved the best for last, so stay tuned for tomorrow's birthday layout. It was all "monkey business". :)

SSSC213 Easter Card
Hello. I'm back again today with my second card for the day. I didn't want to miss the deadline for a couple of challenges.
I would like to enter my card into the following challenges:
1) Sweet Sunday Sketch Challenge #213
2) The Paper Players Challenge #189
Recipe:
Paper: Skylark, White Daisy CS (CTMH)
Stamp: Sugar, Sugar (The Cat's Pajamas)
Ink: Black (VersaFine), Sweet Leaf, Heavenly Blue (CTMH)
Tools: Circle Stax Die (MFT), Micro-Tip Scissors, Clear Detail Embossing Powder, Craft Heater, Blush Alcohol Markers, Honey Alcohol Markers, Crystal Blue Alcohol Markers, Sweet Leaf Alcohol Markers, Whisper Alcohol Markers, Sponge
Other: Olive Buttons (MFT), Neutral Baker's Twine (retired) (CTMH)
The card size is 4x8. I chose Paper-Piecing, Patterned Paper and Ribbon or Twine for my Tic-Tac-Toe. And someone has really upset Mother Nature today because we've had rain, hail and then snow. Yup...must have more sugar. ;)

Atlantic Hearts #44 Lollydoodle Card
Here's another card I created yesterday using a sketch from Atlantic Hearts Challenge blog.
Recipe:
Paper: Lollydoodle, White Daisy CS, Sweet Leaf (CS), Caboodle (retired) (CTMH)
Stamp: My Peeps (retired) (CTMH)
Inks: Hollyhock (CTMH), Vintage Sepia (VersaFine)
Tools: Clear Detail Embossing Powder, Heat Gun, Blush Alcohol Marker Set, Sweet Leaf Alcohol Marker Set, Crystal Blue Alcohol Marker Set, Prisma Glitter, Glue Pen, Scallop Border Punch, Paper-Piercer, Micro-Tip Scissors (CTMH)
Other: Bitty Sparkles (CTMH)
I would also like to enter this card into the Paper Sweeties Inspiration #17 Challenge. The polka dots, colors and eggs made this card so easy to create.
I have a little tip for you (haha, confession time). I got bumped by my son when I was coloring in the blue on one of the eggs. If you knew me, you'd know that since I was very little, I have always prided myself on staying in the lines. I even won a blue ribbon on my first day of first grade for my coloring skills. So, because I had this little blemish on my card, I decided to break out the prisma glitter and glue pen and add sparkle to it. Covers up the boo-boo quite nicely.
Have a great day!

CMCC#8 Easter Card
Well, good news here. My Izzy is finally feeling better and eating again after her tummy bug for the past few days. Jack is still sick with the croup; I must remember that it seems to peak at about day 5, but gosh it is worrisome to hear that horrible cough and last night I listened to him talk to himself in his sleep in between coughing.
On another note, my husband is home early today and he and my father-in-law are out cleaning up snow and pushing back snow banks to prepare for the rain/sleet/snow mix we're supposed to get beginning this afternoon. I laughed this morning when I heard the radio DJ stating that it was supposed to get down to 29 degrees overnight. What planet has she been living on? That's a daytime high for February in Northern Michigan, so during the night(?)...yeah, I'll take it! But I'm sure you didn't come here to read the latest happenings in the Bennett household.
I found a new challenge blog a few weeks ago and have been waiting for a color challenge that would fit with colors I have from Close To My Heart. This week's Colour Me! CMCC#8 Challenge was just what I was waiting for.
Recipe:
Paper: Miracle (retired), White Daisy CS, Sweet Leaf CS (CTMH), Kraft CS (MFT)
Stamp: Some Bunny (Hostess Exclusive) (CTMH)
Ink: Vintage Sepia (Versa Fine)
Tools: Heat Gun, Clear Detail Embossing Powder, Watercolor Pencils, Blending Pen, Crystal Blue & Sweet Leaf Alcohol Marker Sets, Paper-Piercer, Scallop Border Punch (CTMH)
Other: Chocolate Bitty Brads (retired) (CTMH)
I couldn't help myself; this stamped image was begging for a little yellow. Have a happy, crafty day! And if you get a chance, play along with this wonderful new challenge. You have until Monday, February 24th at 12pm EST.
